Report to Lynx Ferry terminal, before 7.30 am. Sails at 8.00 am. EVERY DAY !

Day 1: Wellington - Picton - Blenheim
Catch the ferry across Cook Strait and through the tranquil Marlborough Sounds to Picton in the South Island.  A short coach ride to Blenheim is followed by a tour of the local vineyards which form the backbone of the New Zealand wine industry.  Overnight in Blenheim..

Day 2: Blenheim - Nelson
Travel over the Raj and Whangmoa Saddles to Nelson, where you will stay for two nights. 

Day 3: At Nelson - Abel Tasman National Park Tour
Your full day  excursion begins with a drive through orchard country to Motueka, then on to Kaiteriteri Beach to board your launch.  You may choose to remain on board your launch for the duration of the cruise, disembark to walk of the track, before meeting your launch again in a different bay. .

Day 4: Nelson - Greymouth
Travel through the Buller Gorge to Westport and down the coast to the unique formations known as the Pancake Rocks.  On arrival, you will be met for a tour of the Papanui National Park, seeing the limestone lanscape and taking a short guided walk through the rainforest.  Overnight in Greymouth.

Day 5: Greymouth - Christchurch
This morning is at your leisure.  This afternoon, board the renowned Tranz Alpine train and travel through the lengthy Otira Tunnel, over Arthurs Pass and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.  Your tour ends on arrival at approximately 6.05 pm.

Meeting and Departure Services
