Wellington, capital city of New Zealand. The central city is focussed around the waterfront with many cafe's, theatres and cinemas. The ferry to the South Island departs from the Northern end of Wellington but even a daytrip to the amazing Marlborough Sounds is well worth it. Wellington city is also a culture centre with his many Art Galleries and Arts & Craftshops. The harbour is surrounded by many hills which provide superb views from here.
