Departs daily in the morning @ 9.00 am and in the afternoon @ 1.30 pm. We can pick you up from your accommodation.

These are Auckland's only tours that combine sightseeing with visiting private gardens. Auckland is well known for it's subtropical climate and the ability to grow almost any variety of plant. Travel in small groups with the chance to walk around on asphalt paths and meet local homeowners with well known horticulturalist Mike Maran. Your street shoes are suitable. Travel in comfort in an airconditioned mini coach. Book direct before you arrive in New Zealand.

We run three scheduled tours, and three "on request" tours.

Tour 1 - Auckland Highlights & City Gardens:

Visit the Parnell Rose Gardens, the Savage Memorial, many private gardens not open to the general public, Ellerslie Racecourse gardens. Cornwall Park, the summit of One Tree Hill and the Auckland Domain Wintergardens. Tour time is 3.5 hours.

Tour 2 - Native Bush & Gardens:

Enjoy the Scenic Drive in Auckland's bush clad Waitakere Ranges. At the Aratiki Visitors Centre receive an introduction to NZ native trees. View an award winning Waitakere garden. Pamoramic views of the city from the summit of the Waitakere Ranges. Visit a 1000 year old Kauri tree and enjoy a short bush walk. Tour time is 3.5 hours.

Tour 3 - Auckland Botanical Treasures:

This tour combines Tour 1 and Tour 2 for an extensive look at the best of Auckland's parks and gardens. A stop is made for lunch at the end of the morning tour. Lunch cost not included.

Tour 4 - Regional Botanical Gardens:

Enjoy a guided tour around these extensive gardens. View herbal gardens, proteas, roses, native & cottage gardens. Tour time is 3.5 hours.

Tour 5 - Private City Gardens:

Visit three outstanding different types of local gardens which include; terraced, or Bonsai, or Spanish Pacific or Native parterre or Kiwi quarter acre or visit the splendid Eden Gardens. Tour time 3.5 hours.

Tour 6 - Country Gardens:

Enjoy a guided tour of NZ's finest country estate in the city outskirts. Or visit two medium sized country estate gardens. Tour time 3.5 hours

All fares shown include GST. Departure times may be altered by arrangement. $5 surcharge for Airport Hotel pickups. Japanese Tour notes available on Tour 1. Single person surcharge of $10. Refreshments and umbrellas provided on all tours.
