Day 3. Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua.
Leaving the 'City of Sails' we travel south to Waitomo Caves and experience a guided tour of the underground limestone caverns. Emerge into daylight and continue to Rotorua and tonight enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast).

Day 4. Rotorua, Freedom of Choice Touring.

Day 5. Rotorua, Wellington.
Follow the Thermal Explorer Highway to the heart of the North Island and the vast volcanic plateau of World Heritage-listed Tongariro National Park on our way to Wellington.

Day 6. Wellington, Blenheim.
This morning we visit Te Papa, the 'National Museum of New Zealand'. This afternoon board our Interislander cruise for our journey to Picton. On arrival we travel by coach to Blenheim.

Day 7. Blenheim, Christchurch.
Enjoy spectacular scenery as we journey through the renowned vineyard and the productive orchard region of Marlborough. Visit the fishing town of Kaikoura, famous for its whale watching. This afternoon we arrive in Christchurch.

Day 8. TranzAlpine Train, Franz Josef.
This morning board the award-winning TranzAlpine train for a journey renowned as New Zealand's 'Great Rail Adventure'. Disembark at Arthurs Pass and continue along the dramatic West Coast to Franz Josef.

Day 9. Franz Josef, Queenstown, Freedom of Choice Dining.
Enjoy a day of incredible scenery as we travel along the Haast River by safari boat. Rejoin our coach and continue to Queenstown, the 'Alpine Resort'. This evening, you have a choice of four dining experiences.

Today we journey along the Milford Road to maginificent Milford Sound. We board our Red Boat cruise and journey the full length of this beautiful Fiord.This afternoon we have a relaxing drive to the tranquil settlement of Te Anau.

Day 12. Te Anau, Dunedin, Freedom of Choice.
Leaving the dramatic landscape of the Fiordland region we journey through rolling Southland countryside. Arrive in Dunedin this afternoon where you choose an activity and we will include it. Freedom of Choice Touring™. Tour historic Olveston House, discover Otago Peninsula wildlife, visit Speight's Brewery.

Day 13. Dunedin, Twizel.
Today we journey north along the coast to view the unique Moeraki Beach boulders. We turn inland and travel past the beautiful man-made lakes of Pukaki, Aviemore and Benmore. Continue to Twizel for our overnight stay.

Day 14. Mt Cook, Christchurch.
This morning we journey into the majestic scenery of Mt Cook National Park. Stop at picturesque Lake Tekapo to visit the Church of the Good Shepherd. Travel through Burkes Pass and onto Christchurch, the pretty 'Garden City'.
