DAY 1. AUCKLAND, COROMANDEL PENINSULA, WHANGAMATA
Departing Auckland, our journey takes us south across the lush farming district of the
Hauraki Plains, then across the Coromandel Ranges to the east coast and the seaside
holiday resort of Whangamata.

DAY 2. WHANGAMATA, ROTORUA ACTIVE OPTIONS, TAUPO
Today you have a range of experiences to choose from and we will include it. Perhaps visit
the Agrodome and participate in an interactive sheep show, or take an exciting 4WD
off-road adventure. You may like to try river rafting or take a 4x4 Quad Adventure Ride.

DAY 3. TAUPO, WELLINGTON
Leaving Taupo this morning, pass through Tongariro National Park. Continue south across to
the Kapiti Coast and onwards to the nation's capital city of Wellington.

Day 4. Wellington, Nelson
This morning, board our Inter-island cruise for a journey across Cook Strait to Picton. We
rejoin our coach and journey to the adventure gateway of Nelson.
2 Night Stay: Nelson, Trailways Motor Lodge. BD
Day 5. Abel Tasman National Park, Active Options
This morning we travel to Kaiteriteri before choosing the activity of your liking. You may
wish to take a scenic cruise or go kayaking along the coastline. BL
Day 6. Nelson, Punakaiki
Today we take the time to explore Nelson Lakes National Park. Continue to Punakaiki for
our overnight stay.

Day 7. Punakaiki, Fox Glacier
This morning, explore even further with a choice of activities included in your tour.
There are caving adventures with the possibility of abseiling or beach and bushwalks.

2 Night Stay: Fox Glacier, Fox Glacier Hotel (Motel Wing). BD
Day 8. Fox Glacier
This morning we take a dawn walk along Lake Matheson before breakfast. This afternoon
enjoy a glacier experience, our guide will lead us beside a riverbed to a track which
zig-zags uphill. The route takes you onto the ice amongst crevasses and ice ridges and
leads you to the middle of the glacier for spectacular views. B
Day 9. Fox Glacier, Queenstown
Today we continue through Haast Pass and alongside Lake Wanaka to Queenstown. Enjoy the
next two days to discover this spectacular alpine resort.
3 Night Stay: Queenstown, A Line Hotel. B
DAY 10. Queenstown at Leisure, Arrowtown Dinner
Today is yours to explore this alpine resort (own expense). Tonight we journey to historic
Arrowtown, established after gold was discovered in the Arrow River in 1862, to enjoy a
special theater dinner. BD
Day 11. Queenstown at Leisure
Enjoy today at leisure to explore the activities available in Queenstown and its
surrounding areas. B
Day 12. Milford Sound Cruise
This morning we say goodbye to Queenstown and travel through World Heritage-listed
Fiordland National Park to Milford Sound. On arrival we join a cruise to sail the full
length of Milford Sound.

Day 13. Te Anau, Lake Ohau
This morning we travel to magnificent Lake Ohau. This tranquil lakeside settlement in the
heart of Mackenzie country lies on the outskirts of Mt Cook National Park.

Day 14. Lake Ohau, Christchurch
Today we take a unique trip on board a boat that explores the huge dripping iceface of the
Tasman glacier, while our guide provides commentary on the mechanics of the Tasman
Glacier. Continue to Christchurch.

Day 15. Depart Christchurch
Your tour concludes after breakfast this morning and a departure transfer to the airport
is included. B
