DAY 1 Arrive Auckland
We depart Auckland and journey south to Waitomo Caves. Experience a guided tour through
over 250 metres of stunning underground scenery. Continue to Rotorua and tonight enjoy a

DAY 2 Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua

DAY 3 FREEDOM OF CHOICE, Rotorua
Today we give you the opportunity to choose the activity and we will include it. You may
choose a leisurely soak in a natural thermal mineral pool, try your hand at trout fishing,
or enjoy a 4WD excursion. The choice is yours! Tonight you have the unique opportunity to
enjoy the hospitality of friendly New Zealander's in the comfort of their homes with a
Country Homestay. Enjoy a typical evening meal and some famous 'kiwi' hospitality. Stay in
a guest room within the home, and become part of the family for the duration of your stay.

DAY 4 Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington
Journey across World Heritage-listed Tongariro National Park to Wellington. Enjoy tonight
staying at Wellington's only 5 star hotel, Hotel Inter-Continental. The hotel is located
in the heart of New Zealand's cosmopolitan capital, in one of the city's landmark
high-rise buildings, adjacent to the beautiful Wellington Harbour.

DAY 5 Wellington, Nelson
Today our Inter-island cruise takes us across Cook Strait to the South Island. Rejoin our
coach in Picton and this afternoon we journey to Nelson. On arrival visit the World of
Wearable Arts Museum.

DAY 6 Nelson, Franz Josef
Follow the Heritage Highway through the impressive Buller Gorge to the wild and rugged
West Coast. View the fascinating 'Pancake' rock formations and blowholes at Punakaiki.
Enter World Heritage-listed Westland National Park, where you can view the magnificent
glaciers, rivers of ice.

DAY 7 Franz Josef, Wanaka
View incredible scenery today as we leave this World Heritage-listed area travelling
through Haast Pass, and over the magnificent Southern Alps. Continue to Wanaka for our
overnight stay.

DAY 8 Wanaka, Queenstown
Depart Wanaka this morning and journey to the delightful village of Arrowtown. Continue to
the alpine resort of Queenstown.

DAY 9 At Leisure in Queenstown DINE AROUND DINNER
Enjoy a day experiencing the endless scenic attractions in this fabulous lake side resort
(own expense). Tonight we explore Queenstown even further with our Dine Around Dinner,
