DAY 1. AUCKLAND, WAITOMO, ROTORUA (D)
This morning travel south to Waitomo Caves, and experience a guided tour of the limestone caverns. Continue to Rotorua, a geothermal wonderland, and tonight immerse yourself in culture as you enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance.

DAY 2. ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING (BD)
Today experience the attractions of Rotorua and visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve. Take a guided tour through the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, enjoy an entertaining sheep show at the Agrodome, and visit Rainbow Springs Nature Park.

DAY 3. ROTORUA, WELLINGTON (BD)
Today we view Wairakei Steam Valley, spectacular Huka Falls, and tranquil Lake Taupo. Travel south across the vast volcanic plateau of World Hertitage-listed Tongariro National Park, before continuing to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.

DAY 4. WELLINGTON, BLENHEIM (BD)
This morning enjoy a brief city sightseeing tour, and visit Te Papa, the National Musuem of New Zealand. This afternoon we cruise across Cook Strait to the South Island. Rejoin our coach and travel to Blenheim.

DAY 5. BLENHEIM, KAIKOURA, CHRISTCHURCH (BD)
Today we travel to the thriving seaside settlement of Kaikoura where you have the opportunity to go Whale-watching (weather permitting, own expense), before continuing to Christchurch, the 'Garden City'

DAY 6. CHRISTCHURCH, TRANZALPINE, FRANZ JOSEF (BD)
This morning board the award-winning Tranzalpine train. Enjoy stunning scenery as we cross the magnificent Southern Alps. Disembark at Arthurs Pass and continue to Hokitika by coach, then along the dramatic west coast to Franz Josef Glacier.
Two Night Stay: Franz Josef, Franz Glacier Hotel.

DAY 7. FRANZ JOSEF, QUEENSTOWN (BD)
Travel down the west coast, then along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the action-packed alpine resort of Queenstown. This evening, you have a choice of four special dining experiences. You choose where and when you want to dine and we will include it!

DAY 8. AT LEISURE IN QUEENSTOWN (B)
Today is free for you to explore the endless scenic attractions available (own expense).

DAY 9. QUEENSTOWN, MILFORD SOUND, TE ANAU (BD)
Today we journey along the Milford Road, and on arrival in Milford Sound we board our Red Boat Cruise and journey the full length of this beautiful fiord. This afternoon we drive to the settlement of Te Anau.
Accommodation: Te Anau, Luxmore Resort Hotel.

DAY 10. TE ANAU, DUNEDIN (BD)
Travel to Dunedin today and enjoy a brief city sightseeing tour on arrival before free time for shopping or optional activities (own expense).
Accommodation: Dunedin, Leisure Lodge.

DAY 11. DUNEDIN, TWIZEL (BD)
Departing Dunedin today we journey to Oamaru, then continue inland passing beautiful glacier-fed lakes of incredible colour to MacKenzie country, surrounded by majestic mountain scenery and tussock grasslands.
Accommodation: Twizel, MacKenzie Country Inn.

DAY 12. TWIZEL, MT COOK, CHRISTCHURCH (BD)
Today we journey into Mt Cook National Park. Take an optional scenic flight over this awe-inspiring alpine region (weather permitting, own expense). Continue to beautiful Lake Tekapo and visit the tiny stone Church of the Good Shepherd. Continue across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
Accommodation: Christchurch, Copthorne Central.

DAY 13. DEPART CHRISTCHURCH (B)
A departure transfer to the Airport is included to connect with your onward flight.
