This morning travel on an independent basis aboard the Overlander Train bound for Wellington. You will be met on arrival and tranferred to your centrally located hotel.

DAY 2. WELLINGTON, BLENHEIM (BD)
We board our scenic Inter-island cruise which takes us over Cook strait, through the beautiful Marlborough Sounds to Picton. We rejoin our coach and travel to Blenheim.

DAY 3. BLENHEIM, CHRISTCHURCH (BD)
Travel down the east coast along rugged coastline to Christchurch, the pretty 'Garden City', and the largest in South Island.

DAY 4. CHRISTCHURCH, OAMARU (BD)
This morning enjoy the scenery as we travel to spectacular Mt cook National Park.

DAY 5. OAMARU, DUNEDIN, TE ANAU (BD)
We stop to view the unique Moeraki Beach boulders before visting Dunedin. This afternoon we continue our journey to Te Anau.

DAY 6. MILFORD SOUND CRUISE (BD)
Drive through stunning mountain scenery to Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this remarkable fiord. This afternoon journey to Queenstown and tonight enjoy a choice of dining options included in your tour.

DAY 7. QUEENSTOWN AT LEISURE (BD)

DAY 8. QUEENSTOWN, FRANZ JOSEF (BD)
Enter the amazing World Heritage-listed area of South West New Zealand. Perhaps take a flight over fox and Franz Josef Glaciers (own expense, weather permitted).

DAY 9. FRANZ JOSEF, CHRISTCHURCH (BD)
Travel to Hokitika and view native Pounamu (Jade) being crafted into jewellery. Then cross the spectacular Southern Alps to Christchurch.

DAY 10. CHRISTCHURCH, WELLINGTON (BD)
This morning we board te TranzCoastal train and travel the eastern coastline to the seaside port of Picton. Board the Inter-island ferry for our scenic crossing to Wellington.

DAY 11. WELLINGTON, ROTORUA (BD)
Travel past the Ruahini Ranges then journey north through the central plateau to Lake Taupo. View thunderous Huka Falls then continue to thermal Rotorua and tonight experience a Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance.

DAY 12. ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING (BD)
Today we show you the highlights of Rotorua. Visit the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute and Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve. Visit the Agrodome, then continue to Rainbow Springs to stroll through native flora and fauna.

DAY 13. WAITOMO, AUCKLAND (B)
Travel north to the Waitomo Limestone Caves. Here we are taken on a tour of the fascinating limestone formations. Continue across the lush farmland of the Waikato to Auckland where your tour concludes upon arrival and a departure transfer to the Airport is included.
