We journey south to Waitomo Caves and explore the limestone caverns before continuing to Rotorua. Tonight enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance.

Today you choose the experience and we will include it. Perhaps tour the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, visit Rainbow Springs and enjoy a guided forest walk. Play a round of golf, or relax on a lunch cruise aboard the Lakeland Queen. The choice is yours!

DAY 3. ROTORUA, TAUPO, WELLINGTON (BD)
Journey south to view spectacular Huka Falls then travel across the volcanic plateau of World Heritage-listed Tongariro National Park to Wellington, the capital city.

DAY 4. WELLINGTON - NELSON (BD)
Today our Inter-Island cruise takes us across Cook Strait to the South Island. This afternoon journey to Nelson and visit the World of Wearable Arts Museum.

Journey along the rugged coastline to Franz Josef and be amazed by the spectacular scenery. Perhaps enjoy a scenic flight (wether permitting, own expense).

DAY 6. FRANZ JOSEF, WANAKA (BD)
We cross the magnificent Southern Alps and leave the rugged beauty of the West Coast behind. Enter the Southern Lakes district and journey to Wanaka.

DAY 7. PERSONALISED SEIGHTSEEING (BD)
Today we journey to Dunedin and on arrival you choose the experience and we will include it. Journey aboard the Taieri Gorge Train, tour Olveston House, Cadbury Chocolate World or Speights Brewery. Perhaps visit the Yellow-eyed Penguin or the Royal Albatross Reserves.

DAY 8. DUNEDIN - TE ANAU (BD)
This morning we journey south for our spectacular journey through the Catlins district to Invercargill. Enjoy time to explore New Zealand’s most southern city before continuing to Te Anau.

DAY 9. MILFORD SOUND CRUISE (BD)
Today we experience some of New Zealand’s most remote and untouched native forest as we travel to Milford Sound. On arrival we cruise the full length of this ancient fiord (wether permitting)

DAY 10. AT LEISURE IN QUEENSTOWN (BD)

DAY 11. QUEENSTOWN, MT COOK (BD)
Journey through Lindis Pass to the High Country and Mt. Cook National Park. Perhaps enjoy a flight over this alpine region (own expense, weather permitting).

DAY 12. MT COOK, CHRISTCHURCH (B)
Visit beautiful Lake Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd before crossing the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch where your tour concludes on arrival. A departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight is included.
