7 DAY NEW ZEALAND NORTHERN EXPOSURE

DAY 1. AUCKLAND, BAY OF ISLANDS (D)
Today we journey north and visit the Matakohe Kauri Museum. We continue to Paihia located in the sub tropical Bay of Islands.
Garden Waitangi, Two nights.

DAY 2. BAY OF ISLANDS AT LEISURE (B)
Today is free for you to explore this maritime playground. Perhaps enjoy a day trip to Cape Reinga at the very top of New Zealand or take the opportunity to swim with dolphins. The choice is yours (own expense).

DAY 3. BAY OF ISLANDS, AUCKLAND (BD)
Enjoy a morning at leisure, perhaps take one of the many optional half day tours that are available before our return to Auckland.

DAY 4. AUCKLAND, ROTORUA (BD)
This morning we visit the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, Continue to geothermal Rotoura. Tonight enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural entertainment.

DAY 5. ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING (BD)
Today we visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and view native wildlife at Rainbow Springs.

DAY 6. LAKE TEKAPO, WANGANUI (BD)
We journey to lake Taupo, the largest lake in New Zealand. We then follow the historic Wanganui River to Wanganui.

DAY 7. WANGANUI, WELLINGTON (B)
This morning we travel to Wellington where your tour concludes upon arrival. A departure transfer to the airport is included.
