DAY 2 Wellington, Blenheim (BD)
This morning enjoy a brief sight seeing tour, including Parliament Buildings, before we visit Te Papa - the nation Museum of New Zealand.  this afternoon we join our cruise for the journey across Cook Strait to Picton.  Rejoin our coach and travel to Blenheim.

DAY 3 Blenheim, Christchurch (BD)
Today  is specacular scenic journey between mountain and sea.  rvel through the Marlborough region, an area with a growing international reputation for white wines.   Journey between the Pacific Ocean and rugged Kaikoura Ranges.  Throguh North Canterbur to Christchurch, the 'Garden City'.

DAY 4 Trans Alpine Train, Franz Josef (BD)
This morning board the award winning Tranz- Alpine  Train.  Cross the vast patchwork farmlands of the Canterbury plains before climbing up into the Main Divide. Disembark the arthurs pass and continue to hokitika by Coach.  Continue along the dramatic west coast and enter th eWorld Heritage -listed area of Te Wahipounamu - Sotuh West New Zealand.  View the magnificient Franz Josef Glacier (weather permitting).

DAY 5 Franz Josef, Queenstown (BD)
Enjoy a day of incredible scenery as we travel along th ewest coast, through a world of mountains and glaciers, tranquil lakes and raging rivers on the Haast River Safari.   Rejoin our coach and follow the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the 'Alpine Resort' of Queenstown.  Tonight you get to choose from one of  four restaurants and we will incude it!

DAY 6 Queenstown at Leisure (B)
Today you choose the activity and we will include it!  Perhaps take a tour through some of Queenstowns local gardens or join a lord of the rings safari.

DAY 7 QueensTown, Milford Sound, Te Anau (BD)
Today we follow the Remarkables Mountain Range and trace the shore of lake Wakatipu to Fiordland National Park.  Journey along the Mlford Road, renowned as one of the world's finest alpine drives.  Board our Red Boat cruise and journey the full length of this beautiful fiord.  This afternoon we have a relaxing drive to Te Anau.

DAY 8 Te Anau, Dunedin, Personalised Sighseeing (BD)
Travel across the south Island through small farming communities to Dunedin, renowned as the 'Edinburgh of the South'.  On arrival you choose the acitivity and we will include it!  Enjoy a tour of Cadbury Chocolate World or the Speights Brewery.

DAY 9 Dunedin, Twizel (BD)
Departing Dunedin we journey north to Moeraki Beacg with its unusual boulders.  Stop at Oamaru and this Afternoon  we arrive in the heart of MacKenzie Country.

DAY 10 Mount Cook, Christchurch (B)
This morning we journey to Mount Cook National Park. You may wish to enjoy a scenic flight over this alpine area (own expense, weather permitting). Visit the stone Church of the Good Shepherd, nestled on the shore of Lake Tekapo. Continue across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch where your tour concludes. A departure transfer is included.
