A quick 3 day trip to the very top of NZ from Auckland, including kauri forests,
Bay of Islands, Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach...
Day 1: Auckland - Bay of Islands
North over the Harbour Bridge to Whangarei
and Paihia. The afternoon is at your leisure for optional activities, such as a
visit to quaint Russell or the Waitangi National Reserve. Stay 2 nights in Paihia.
Day 2: Paihia - Cape Reinga - Paihia
Venture North to Cape Reinga via Puketi
Kauri Forest, viewing giant Kauri trees, to where the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean
meet. Zoom along Ninety Mile Beach. Stop for sightseeing and refreshments (own expense).
Day 3: Cruise - Bay of Islands - Auckland
Cruise the Bay through the intriguing Hole
in the Rock. Board your waiting coach and travel back to Auckland once more.
